道具は大事
立禅瞑想・円棒禅の縄文棒（太古の記憶を継ぐ）
料理には、鍋・包丁・まな板が命。 道具はとても大事。
食事を頂く時、お箸も吉野杉、割りばし、プラスチック製、金属ばしと色々あるが、それぞれの感触が全く違う。 杉の木やヒノキには、殺菌効果もあるので、お箸や、お寿司屋さんのカウンター、お風呂にも使われる。
縄文の時代から樹木
は強大な力を持っていました。 神社仏閣の隠れた秘密のパワーの源も樹木にあります。 それは柱です。 伊勢神宮で行われている式年遷宮は最大の秘事であり、心（しん）の御柱という柱の神事になります。
七年ごとの諏訪大社の御柱祭も大変意義深い隠れた行事です。
五重の塔という建物は世界最古の木造建築であり、その中心にあるのが柱です。 これを心柱といいます。
神社仏閣に貫く氣の流れ、天地をつなぐ柱です。 皆さんの家には、大黒柱という天地をつなぐ柱があります。 天に抜けていく柱が建物によって保護されています。 命でありまた仏と言えます。 木の柱は仏の姿であり、字のごとく木の主の事です。 法幢寺の本堂にも、1尺2寸のケヤキの丸柱が6本立ち並び、螺旋のエネルギーが渦巻き、穏やかな氣場を形成しています。
本堂にいると、癒されたり、元気になるのは、ふんだんに使われてる木のお陰です。
キリストも仏教も木というものをとても大事にしてきました。
クリスマスツリーはキリストの誕生を祝うものであり、キリストの象徴になっています。
縄文から続く木の力をパワーツリーと言います。
木そのものを永遠の生命体の象徴として、仏像を彫り、特別な加工方法によって丸く仕上げたのを円功禅では、パワーツリーといいます。 棒とは「木を奉る」と書きます。
木によってそれぞれの性質があり作用が違います。
日本古来の木、樫の木、なら、ぶな、結寿の木、かえで、ツバキなど日本の自生種が日本の地場の氣をもっているので、オススメです。
木によって重さも違うし、重心が変わる。
立禅瞑想では、棒を持って立つ、回す、振り落とす、そしてこする、ということを行う為に、長さ、太さを変えることで、身体の行動、身体操法によって使い分けます。
今日の立禅瞑想講習会のテーマは、「自分に集中する、人は気にしない」。
